There will be regular song and album downloads each day this week. On Saturday (check out Birds With Broken Wings every Friday) The Basement Rug will begin posting weekly, featuring themed compilations and podcasts and who knows what else?
As other podcasters and bloggers out there can attest, compilations can take a considerable amount of work. First you must create a concept, and then find the recordings you need to make it into a reality. Then comes the ripping, arranging, editing, and equalization. The last part can be sticky if the production values of your recordings vary greatly.
We just ask you to be patient. If you drop by over the weekend and there’s nothing posted here, it is because we have nothing to offer. If you still need a music fix, we suggest you turn on the radio, review your own music collection, visit one of the many great blogs on The Basement Rug blogroll, or meditate in wonderful silence. Get outside and go for a hike in the woods!
