I to remember that big finish with the many guitars - awesome night. Do you remember the opening of the show with the Betty Boop film while the Allman's played in the background?

I was at that Allman Brothers-Little Feat concert at Maple Leaf Gardens. I think it was in 1994. I missed most of the second set while wandering the Gardens in a semi-serious o-d. Luckily, the police and security found it in them not to pull me out; and after about 40 minutes I somehow found my wits, section, and seat again before, as you mention, the MC announced a very special guest and the lights went up to a lone chair at center stage. I had heard rumours of a special guest and was absolutely thrilled when I saw who it was. Although Little Feat and the Allman Brothers are legends and I waited impatiently for two weeks to see them, Jeff Healey's appearance for me was the highlight of the night and of my concert going experiences. I have this memory, (which could just be me mythologizing him) he let out this long solo, and then one by one from the left, then the right, the guitarists from Little Feat came to his side and then the guitarists from the Allman Brothers. I have a broken memory of other special guests also entering the stage one at a time and each one adding to the riff until the stage was filled in a single line of guitar legends with Jeff Healey dead center. The song, I seem to recall blew up into All Along The Watchtower!

I was just checking my logs and noticed that there were 22 failed attempts to download Bring Out Your Dead 2008 - Volume 2, due to an invalid link. 17 of those attempts were from a single IP address. Talk about persistence! You'd think someone would post a comment here notifying me of the problem, but nope. It's ok folks, I can take the criticism. I make mistakes like everyone else :)
