The great Toronto revolving-door music project, Broken Social Scene, will play a free show at Harbourfront Centre on 11 July 2009 (SIRIUS stage at 8:00 pm). After so many achievements, not to mention Canada’s ascension to the top of the indie rock oil well, Broken Social Scene has come a long way from their formation in 1999. The band was born of a theme that has become the stalwart of the band’s existence — friendship in tough times. Harbourfront Centre is at 235 Queens Quay West, Toronto.
