Wow, so many. RIP.
Dad (also Frank, would agree with McCourt, having abandoned Catholicism in a foxhole) used to sing “Flat foot floozy with the Floy-floy” aroond the hoose. Much later I learned it’s aboot a hooker with the clap… Just heard cut 3, obviously not the same tune. And dad had the lyrics a wee off it seems – Pim Koopman. I have their eponymous debut I think.
Love the medieval graphic header. Where’d you find it as there certainly is a wealth to choose from. The skeleton looks like it’s sayin, ‘come on, stop yer whining’.
Tanx boychiks.

Oh, the flat foot floogie with a floy, floy,
Flat foot floogie with a floy, floy,
Flat foot floogie with a floy, floy,
Floy doy, floy doy, floy doy.
Yeah, yeah yeah, byah, oh, baby!
Yeah, byah, byah, oh, baby!
Yeah, byah, byah, oh, baby!
Yeah, byah, byah!
Whenever your cares are chronic,
Just tell the world, “go hang,”
You’ll find a greater tonic,
If you go on swingin’ with the gang!
Flat foot floogie with a floy, floy,
Flat foot floogie with a floy, floy,
Floy, floy, floy, yeah!
Send me on out there!
Whenever your cares are chronic,
Just tell the world, “go hang,”
You’ll find a greater tonic,
If you go on stumblin’ with the gang!
Hey, hey, hey, yes, yes!
BTW – the images for BOYD were found by searching online for “Danse Macabre”. I still have one more volume to put together – hopefully I can have it up before the end of the year, as I need to start working on BOYD 2010.
Ah, I misunderstood the tag. The link would be more appropriate around “lyrics a wee off” than poor ex-Pim though.
