Was looking for some Blind Lemon and do recommend R.L. Burnside, my brother.
Perhaps a new rug?

Carolyn Mark and NQ Arbuckle – ckeck it out!
I know of R.L. Burnside, but I don’t think I have anything. Do you recommend anything in particular? As for Blind Lemon, seeing as he is a major historical figure in the blues, you should be able to find his music and books about him at your local public library. Otherwise, I would go visit Big Road Blues radio show at SundayBlues.org.
Your readers who are interested in the history of Cajun and Creole music can find many songs and descriptions at my Web site, . Attempts to fill in a black hole in the availability of Louisiana French music, a field where you can find music from the 20s and 30s, then the 80s onward, but not much in between.
I’m listening to the M.O.I. Rockpile concert now, and it’s great! Thank you. I’ve just discovered your site after seeing a comment by you on BWBW and it looks very interesting indeed and is sure to take up a fair amount of my time in the days to come.
any one know what happened to Roger Hopps-trunpet player-I was in band at Memphis Central witk he and Marvin Stamm and one semester in music school at North Texas in 1959
Thomas: Since you like Zappa, be sure to check out Horn: On the People’s Side.

I think your best bet may be to try and connect with Tony Joe White, or The Memphis Horns, who recently did some recording work with Jack White. You can find them on MySpace as well. The Memphis Horns are now led by Wayne Jackson, but if you cannot reach him by email, try his agent, Eric Clinger at 818-503-4711.
Here’s a good blog where I’ll try to post your requests. You may want to request membership since he moves sometimes because of the MAN.
I also post in the bluegrass newsgroup if you are familiar with them.

I would like to post the following on the comments to Home Gas Album page.
Bernella, I was there during the taping of some of these songs in the kitchen of the Bloomington house that is reported burned.
I was amazed to find that Peter died on 11/11/11. Perfect!
I held the two mikes at the direction of the various musicians, including Peter and Rosenfield and others during Bumblebee and several other songs. You can reach me in Eureka! at johnvallison@yahoo.com
John, I will forward your contact info to Bernella. You can post comments directly to the Homegas album page if you are logged in.
Thank you for the great music that I can find on your web site.
